3 PhD vacancies - request: New-Emerge (EU Horizon Europe project)
New-Emerge (EU Horizon Europe project) recently reached a stage that the main agreement is about to be signed, so we can start to recruit people (formal starting date of project: 1st Jan).
Below you’ll find three PhD position descriptions - the overall idea is that PhD’s are going to start more or less in parallel, while each is working on a distinct work package (this project consists of seven work packages)
- below-ground disease suppressiveness - DNA-based mapping of nematode communities and their antagonists throughout Europe
- heat-stable plant resistances - study the impact of heat stress on nematode resistance NLR proteins
- below-ground pathobiomes - determination and comparison of pathobiomes among plant-parasitic nematodes
We would like to underline that these positions are really open. So, yes we are going to invite people to apply for individual positions, but for none of the positions we made any commitment,
