29 de juny de 2025 - 15th European Conference of Precision Agriculture (ECPA 2025)

It is a pleasure to inform about the  15th European Conference on Precision Agriculture – ECPA 2025, which will be held from 29 June to 3 July in Barcelona, under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and organized by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Precision Agriculture (PA) is an important topic at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specially represented by the Escola d’Enginyeria Agroalimentària i de Biosistemes de Barcelona (EEABB) and the research group of UMA – Unit of Agricultural Machinery. In the last 20 years, a large list of research and extension projects focused on PA has been successfully developed and implemented in the agricultural sector, mostly focused on the very challenging sectors of vineyard and fruit growing. Consequently, hosting such an important event as ECPA will surely help our PA  archives, allowing us to reach as much as possible all the involved stakeholders. Precision Agriculture became a “magic word” in most of the newly implemented EU legislation, so we have the responsibility to improve knowledge and extension, making the latest developments available for everybody.

15th ECPA will merge efforts in order to  accomplish its attractive slogan: “A Reality for Everyone”.
